I am a Consultant Cardiologist at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital and Clinical Lead for Intervention and TAVI.  I trained in the North West (MRI, Wythenshawe and Blackpool), and was lucky enough to be awarded a BCIS Interventional Fellowship in Toronto, Canada.  I have an interest in education and am the Education Programme Director for NW trainees, and the regional LTFT lead. My research interests are gene therapy for atherosclerosis (my PhD thesis), PCI outcomes and OOHA, and I am local PI for a number of multicentre PCI and TAVI trials.
